Ashleigh joined us in May 2016 and has been working with animals for 7 years in pet stores and now as a Veterinary Receptionist here at Vets4Pets. She has a Diploma in Animal Management and a love for Reptiles and Dogs. I qualified in June 1999 from Lasi University in Romania.

She has a degree in Visual Effects and Post Production from the University of Bolton but soon realised that she preferred to work in the animal care industry. She has worked for Pets at Home as a store colleague for 4 ½ years and gained her SQP qualification prior to joining our practice. She gained her Veterinary Care Assistant qualification in 2021 and is now studying to be a veterinary nurse. As an SQP she also prepares repeat prescriptions for many of our patients. Her home life is pretty chilled with her main hobby, reading science fiction novels. Over recent years Charley has had every small furry pet imaginable… and has adopted a rescue dog called Boadie to join to her furry family.

Before joining Vets4Pets she worked the night shift at one of the busiest emergency clinics in the country. Alex brought her vast wealth of experience to the practice when she joined in Sept 2014. She is keen on all aspects of preventative healthcare and especially the importance of good weight management. She has an interest in long term conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, ear and skin diseases, where seeing the same vet on each visit is preferable. She also enjoys looking after the smaller furrier patients and has taken extra courses on treating rabbits, guinea pigs, hamster chinchillas etc.

Designed to cover all the regular pet care essentials such as vaccinations and flea and worm prevention, whilst saving you money. She enjoys all aspects of her role but is particularly keen on dealing with clients face to face in our nurse clinics. She is looking forwards to further developing our weight and geriatric clinics. When Ashleigh is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

A new urban infill home for empty nesters in the old neighborhood of Bouldin, this 2,733-square-foot house projects a welcoming presence with a graciously scaled front porch and street-facing windows. On the inside, a cozy kitchen-living-dining area has a view of the street. A den on the second floor occupies a dormer with a view of downtown.

The 32nd annual AIA Austin Homes Tour features 14 unique homes spotlighting the collaboration between homeowner and architect. The homes highlight a range of techniques from overall design and craftsmanship to creative use of materials. The addition, a steel structure on the back of the house, achieved the goal of preserving the street view of the original cottage as well as being quite lovely. Featured on the cover of this magazine, this East Austin home is the residence of acclaimed architectural photographer Casey Dunn and his wife, Sarah. With a modest and minimal design, the house shares many qualities of homes Dunn has shot in his 12-year career and was the first project completed by husband-wife architecture firm Side Angle Side. Every year for over 30 years, AIA Austin has produced what has become a nationally recognized tour of homes designed by architects for specific clients.
